Touching the lives of the less privileged positively, indelibly & irrevocably!

Message from our Founder/Chairman

On behalf of the entire Isua-khe-Itsua family, I warmly welcome you to our online hub!

Isua-khe-Itsua which literally means “My own is my own”, is a registered charity foundation with the sole aim of catering for the most vulnerable persons in our society - especially, women and children. We are located in the heart of Auchi- Edo state, Nigeria in West Africa.

Our activities encompass welfare, counseling, education, skill acquisition and diverse support to orphanage homes and Internally Displaced Persons.

I’m glad you visited and desire you come aboard this journey and explore this vision- turned-reality which has been nurtured for over a decade ago.

Once again, welcome!

How we help

Victims of violence and unfortunate circumstances have often been abandoned and neglected. This group of persons constitutes a decent percentage of our society. They often live in dejected and inhospitable conditions. We partner with various IDP camps and orphanage homes in and around us so that we can stamp out poverty and eliminate social imbalance in our society.
Every child deserves the right to access quality and affordable education. But there are serious challenges hindering this fundamental human right. That is why we make it our priority to provide scholarships to the less privilege. We plan to increase and expand this opportunities so that many more children can have access to basic and quality education.
The United Nations estimates that about 795 million people of the 7.3 billion people in the world (or 1 in 9 people) were suffering from chronic undernourishment between 2014 and 2016- out of which 42% were children. We constantly strive to eradicate poverty and hunger through short term distribution of basic food items and empowerment schemes to help sustain our vision in the long run.
Suicide, drug abuse, criminality, political thuggery and other illicit vices have been found to reduce by half when proper guidance and counselling is administered according to a recent survey. Counselling is a key and fundamental activity for us to meet our organizational set-goal of minimizing poverty while at the same time significantly reducing the gap of social inequality. Be it through medical outreach or sensitization, we intend to reach out to all.
We believe that one of the smartest ways of creating jobs and social empowerment that are sustainable and efficient is through investing in skills acquisition and training. It has huge potential of boosting the local economy. We continue to invest in this area as it has the potential to reduce poverty and bridge the gap of social inequality.
